Paying It Forward!

And we take it seriously! We feel we have been blessed with really good dogs and really good friends. And part of our job is to respect our blessings and help a few other animals when we can.

All of them have a story. All of them, except Annie, need a new home. Cost to a new owner is normally nothing but what it takes to get them to you!

When Annie came to us (pictured on the left) she was heavy with a litter of babies, and frightened. She endured life I think, rather than living it happily. She was tied out front of a business, left there for whatever fate may deal to her. She came home with me and my intention was to give her a home long enough to raise the litter with her, and rehome everyone. Well, Annie is a really cool little lady. She is wary of strangers, and folks who come to our farm may or may not get to see her because she still is going to hide from those she does not know. She is a lovely, sweet little lady now though and her time is spent chasing squirrels up trees, making sure the cats know who is in charge, and just generally running the farm! She is spayed now. No more babies for this little mom. All her pups have loving homes now, so her story is complete.

The Lab Mix Pups have new homes as of 5/31/08!! Good luck to all the new owners.

And, last but not least is Little Rose, a pureblood English Pointer. She is young, and had a bad break in one of her legs. Two surgeries later, it was found that the leg would not heal and had to be amputated. She needs a special home, but is a started bird dog. She is going to require a special home with someone who wants to spend time with her and most probably a fenced area so she can run and get enough exercise.  She loves to run and play, and is a very sweet natured young lady.
