It was a nice afternoon but COLD for me...lol. Today was a great way to open the New Year and the dogs had a wonderful time, as did Ron, Earl and me

Pictures below mark our progress with Brutus, Darli and Cracker. It's a lot of fun, and good practice!  Some of the pictures are not as good this time, but my hands were cold!

Also, see Earl Fowls page.

Young Brutus is growing and learning that birds are GREAT FUN! He had a wonderful time pointing birds on this cold afternoon!

Earl and Ron coming back from planting some birds.

Cracker, another of Ron's GWP's had a great day!

This is Darli, littermate to Rose, on her first day on live quail. This young lady has only about an hour of training on birds in her life. She will run her only FT Derby later this week. There is plenty of work to do with her, but the natural ability to love pointing birds is showing very clearly already!  We hope to get her Junior Hunter this spring!
